Aylin Tarlan Tüzemen studied in France until high school, and completed her higher education at Galatasaray High School. She was among the first alumni of Galatasaray University Faculty of Law.
She started her professional career at a reputable law firm in Istanbul and then joined the legal department of Arthur Andersen. She specialized in mergers and acquisitions and took part in many large-scale projects, such as bank mergers, split-offs, restructurings, and company liquidations, which she also actively managed.
After the merger of Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young (EY) in Turkey, she became the legal manager of EY and led a legal team consisting of considerable number of lawyers. Until she founded Tarlan-Baksı Law Firm, she continued her career as the Legal Manager at the Law Office which was separated from EY Turkey due to the regulations in the United States.
Aylin Tarlan Tüzemen who co-established Tarlan-Baksı Law Firm in 2006 with Derya Baksı, Att., continues her career at Tarlan Law Firm since June 1st, 2023. She provides legal consultancy and advocacy services to local and foreign companies in various fields, such as mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, corporate structuring, contracts law, competition law, and commercial law. She also appears on TV programs as an expert on different branches of law, especially labor law. She gives lectures and presentations at various events.
She is a trademark attorney and a sworn translator in both French and English.
Aylin Tarlan Tüzemen is a member of Galatasaray Sports Club. She enjoys biking and hiking in her spare time.
